A Time for Giving

December 24th, 2009

gold_wrapped_gift-thumb-600x422Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanakkuh, Kwanzaa, or whatever, there’s an almost universal commonality among faiths—and non-faiths—that this is the season to give.

In that spirit, I’ve spent some time putting together as concise a summary of our investment approach as I could. And, because it’s so simple, I’ve been able to cram everything I think anyone needs to know about investing into my thirty-minute broadcast on Take Stock with Ellis Traub this evening at 7:30PM Eastern (6:30PM Central).

As you know, my intent is to separate as many folks from “the herd” as I can; and I’m hopeful that this offering might help them to understand why our way works and the herd’s doesn’t.

Now I don’t expect a whole lot of you to spend any of your Christmas Eve with your ears to the phone or your eyes glued to your computer screen, listening to me. As a matter of fact, I’ve pre-taped this episode and will be enjoying the evening with my family too.

But I would hope that, after the holidays, you might go back and listen to the archived show to see if you think it works. If it does, perhaps you’ll pass it along to others who might benefit from learning how to make money with their money and give them a “gift” from both of us.

If you have any constructive suggestions that would help me better accomplish my purpose, I’d appreciate hearing from you. Just leave a comment after this blog or e-mail me at etraub@financialiteracy.us, to make your suggestion.

I’ve videotaped this episode; and my intention is to polish it, seed it with graphics and illustrations, and make the video available on this blog site as soon after the first of the year as possible.

Please help me create something that will truly be a gift you can share with those you care for—one that truly keeps on giving.

Thanks to all of you for caring about what I have to say. I hope these holidays will end this year for you with more optimism and happiness than ever.
